🧊 What this salary actually costs an employer
* Uses 2026 federal and provincial/territorial tax brackets, the basic personal amount, and CPP/CPP2/EI rates (CPP 5.95% to $74,600, CPP2 4% to $85,000, EI 1.63% to $68,900 — Quebec EI 1.30% since QPIP covers parental benefits separately). Quebec uses its own QPP and a two-return system; figures shown are a close approximation, not a Revenu Québec calculation. Does not include the Ontario Health Premium, provincial surtaxes, or personal credits beyond the basic personal amount. This calculator is for planning purposes only — not tax advice.
